Stainless Steel Deck Screws are corrosion resistant making them durable and able to withstand exterior installation and weather conditions without losing their quality. Stainless steel deck screws are perfect for long lasting applications. Scratching or burring the metal will not create surface rust as the corrosion resistance exists within the metal itself. Used for fastening wood and composite deck boards to the main beams or joists. Stainless Steel Deck Screws are an integral part of any deck building project.
These screws feature coarse threads and shoulders to hold the boards together tightly. They feature a type 17 point, which allows for an easy installation in wood and composite deck materials. They have either a bugle head or a trim head with a square or star drive to eliminate the stripping effect sometimes experienced with other types of drives, ensuring easy installation and a flat finished surface.
Stainless Steel Deck Screws are available in Grade 305 Stainless Steel or Grade 316 Stainless Steel. 305 Stainless Steel Deck Screws are suitable for exterior applications exposed to weather and moisture, however for applications that will be exposed to salt water or salt water moisture, such as docks, boardwalks, and other seaside applications, we recommend using Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel because it has a greater tolerance to the rust and corrosion that salt water can cause.

Building a deck near the ocean? Not a problem! Above is our selection of deck screws most suited for the corrosive nature of a marine environment. All of these deck screws are made of 316 grade stainless steel which is the ideal choice for a marine grade environment. Available in square and torx drive, these marine deck screws will provide the maximum life of a fastener in such an environment. Don't want your screws to shine once you've completed your installation? Not a problem! Our hardwood brown painted deck screws have a brown head to camoflague them in your deck, it's that easy!
Square drive bugle head deck screws with a type 17 point have a bugle flat head and are used for fastening wood and composite decks to the main beams. A square drive has become more popular as it reduces cam out during installation. With the added benefit of reduced stripping and stainless steel, these wood screws are highly recommended.
Square drive deck screws with a type 17 point have a flat head and are used for fastening wood and composite decks to the main beams. Trim head Deck screws have a smaller head diameter than standard square drive deck screws. Due to this trim head deck screws can have a more nail-like look. Trim head deck screws are perfect for hiding the screws in wood due to the thinner nature of the head style.
Star Drive Deck Screws feature a 6lobe drive style which is designed to be more resistant to cam out than a standard slotted or Phillips bit. This allows for a higher torque when installing the screw.
Stainless Steel Deck Screws are used to attach wood or composite boards to the main beams of a deck. They feature a notched Type 17 point which easily pierces the wood which allows for an easy and fast installation, as well as sharp cutting threads for superior holding power and excellent retention in wood or composite materials. Star Drive Screws are commonly used in wood applications because of the shoulder between the fastener's head and threads to create a snug fit between the boards of the deck and the main beams.
Colored deck screws are made with the end goal in mind. These screws are colored to resemble that of the wood they are being installed into. Once these colored fasteners are installed they blend seemlessly with wood to efficiently camoflauge their existance. This provides a beautiful, professional quality, finished look. These screws can be used in composite or wood decks as well as other wood applications.
Colored Deck Screws are available in Coated Steel for a premium look in any application. The colored coating provides additional rust protection in addition to the added color to the deck screw.
