Threaded Rod Shipping

Due to the extended dimensions of the required shipping containers, threaded rod is not eligible for Express Shipping.

In addition, threaded rod is charged an additional flat rate for shipping based on the length and diameter of the threaded rod. The shipping charges are as follows:

Fulfillment Expectations

USPS Priority Mail does not guarantee a delivery date. Due to recent widespread shipping delays, your package may take up to 7 business days to arrive.

Most orders placed on AlbanyCountyFasteners.com are processed and shipped within 1-2 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays) after payment is received for credit card and PayPal Express transactions. Holidays can add upto 2 additional days. Our warehouse is closed on the weekends. Orders that are placed on Friday will be processed on Monday. Orders paid via PayPal money request will require additional time for the request to be fulfilled and confirmed by Albany County Fasteners, after which the order will enter our standard fulfillment process. Orders totaling less than $250.00 are not eligible for a PayPal money request. Please use a valid credit card as a best practice for getting your order fulfilled faster, as this method clears the payment gateway most efficiently.

If your order is placed before 1:30pm EST on a business day and is an express paid shipping method, we will do our best to ship the order that same day. This is not a guarantee. Orders where payment is received after 1:30pm EST will enter the fulfillment process the following business day. Standard orders are shipped between 24-48 hours. Special orders that require custom packaging or re-working (including custom finishes and lengths) will take an estimated 5-10 business days to fulfill. Fulfillment expectations for custom or re-working orders will be set when the order is placed and confirmed by Albany County Fasteners. Express shipping methods refer to shipping and does not refer to processing time. Orders are processed in the order that they are received.

Orders are shipped via USPS (United States Postal Service). We are not responsible if USPS does not deliver to the shipping address that you provide to us. If USPS does not deliver to your address, please provide a PO box or contact customer service.

Shipping Policies

LTL Shipping - Due to the nature of LTL shipping, a liftgate may be required to unload your order. If a liftgate or other service is required at extra charge, the customer is responsible for the added fee.

Handling Fees - If shipping on the customer's account there will be a $10.00 handling fee on all domestic orders. For same-day expedited shipping on the customer's account, there will be a $25.00 handling fee for order fulfillment, as well as priority order treatment. These flat fees are to encompass the order fulfillment process (labor, materials, etc.)

Ship On My UPS Account - You authorize us to ship your order using the UPS account number you provide. All shipping charges will be billed directly to your UPS account. This includes any applicable shipping, fuel surcharges, address correction or special handling fees charged by UPS. Your UPS account must be valid, active, and in good standing to use this feature. If your account is not in good standing, your order may be delayed or cancelled. If your UPS account is found to not be valid or active, we reserve all of the following rights to (1) ship your order on our account and charge you for the cost according to our website shipping rates, (2) to hold your order for up to 24 hours until you provide a valid or active UPS account number, or (3) cancel your order. We are not responsible for any fees UPS charges to your account. Disputes regarding UPS billing must be addressed directly with UPS. We assume no liability for invoices, communications, or account status related to your UPS account number. Refused or returned shipments due to invalid account numbers or billing issues with your UPS account may result in order cancellations and return shipping fees which will be billed to your original payment method. Please ensure the UPS account number you provide is accurate and the account is in good standing prior to using the "Bill My Account" feature. We will not be responsible for any shipping costs, fees or account disputes between you and UPS. If you provide a false or fraudulent UPS account number, you are responsible and liable for all shipping costs associated with your order, in accordance with our shipping terms and conditions, at our website shipping rates. The absence of a cost next to the shipping method selected does not mean that there is no cost associated with the shipping method.

FAQ

When Will My Order Ship?

Most orders ship within 24 hours from the time they are placed on AlbanyCountyFasteners.com, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), for all in-stock inventory items. Most orders are delivered within two to three business days – some are delivered even faster! In the case that it will take longer than a few days to receive your order, our office will reach out to you via email or phone to inform you of shipping status and tracking.

Which Carrier Will You Use to Ship My Order?

We ship using the following shipping methods: USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail, USPS Priority Flat Rate Express, USPS Priority Mail, USPS First Class Mail Package, UPS Second Day, UPS Overnight, and LTL Freight. We also ship on DHL, UPS and FedEx accounts. USPS Priority Flat Rate is the primary shipping method for most orders. DHL is only used for orders shipped on customer accounts. A $25 handling fee is applied to all orders shipping DHL, FedEx, UPS, or any international carrier.

Can I pickup my order at your Warehouse?

In-Store Pickup for our local New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania customers is always free, but applicable NJ sales taxes will be applied if customer is not exempt. Customer must present a New Jersey Sales Tax Exempt Certificate for New Jersey sales tax to be removed from the invoice.

Will you ship on my account?

We will ship FedEx, UPS, or DHL on your account, contact our office with your account number and billing zip code and we will explain our terms and the process. All orders placed with "Ship on My Account" as the shipping method will ship ground unless you contact our office prior to placing the order.

Do you offer Shipping Insurance?

We offer premium order protection and shipping insurance for orders up to $10,000. Any order exceeding $10,000 is not eligible for Premium Order Protection Shipping. Premium order protection shipping insurance covers packages which are lost, damaged, or stolen in transit to the customer from AlbanyCountyFasteners.com. Premium order protection provides for a replacement shipment of the product with the same shipping method to the customer, it does not offer a refund for the order cost or shipping cost (with the only exception being if the product that the customer ordered is no longer in stock or available). If any customer is found to be abusing the Premium Order Protection Shipping Insurance policy, (for example, but not limited to: submitting false claims, submitting numerous claims, etc), Raw Products Corp reserves all rights to refund the customer for the cost of the paid insurance and deny the claim.

Can we ship on my UPS Account?
