Zinc-Alloy Expansion & Drywall Anchors
Zamak zinc die-cast anchors provide convenient, reusable solutions for light-to-medium duty fastening in masonry and drywall. Choose double expansion shields for brick/block and self-drilling drywall anchors when you only have access to gypsum board.
Zamak Zinc Alloy Die-cast body with good dimensional accuracy and indoor corrosion performance.
Double Expansion Shield Expands along its full length to grip uneven or crumbly masonry; used with machine screws/bolts.
Self-Drilling Drywall Anchor Drives directly into gypsum; accepts sheet metal screws for quick fixture installs.
Removable Hardware Unscrew the fastener to service fixtures without destroying the base material.
Kit Options Assortments include common anchor sizes with matching screws for job-site convenience.
Clean Installation Standard hand tools; no curing time or specialty adhesive required.
How to Select Zamak Anchors
Match the anchor type and size to your base material, fixture, and load.
Identify the base material: use double expansion shields for brick/block/concrete; use self-drilling for drywall/gypsum board.
Choose the anchor diameter/length for the hole size and embedment needed, considering fixture thickness.
Select the screw type: machine screw/bolt for shields; sheet metal screw for drywall anchors. Match thread and length to your stack-up.
Confirm the recommended drill size (for shields) or drive drywall anchors directly per spec.
Review allowable loads for your substrate and maintain required edge distance and spacing.

Installation & Safety
Drill to spec and clear dust for shields; seat anchors flush and tighten screws to set expansion.
For drywall anchors, drive straight and stop when the collar is flush; do not over-torque.
Observe minimum edge distances; avoid cracked, spalled, or delaminated substrates.
Not rated for structural, overhead, or life-safety loads unless specifically stated.
