Nylon Expansion Anchors for Masonry & Drywall

Nylon anchors provide light-to-medium duty attachment in concrete, brick, block, plaster, and drywall. The polymer body expands against the base material as the screw is installed, creating a reliable hold for fixtures, clips, and hardware.

Corrosion-Resistant Polymer Nylon resists rust and many chemicals for indoor and covered outdoor use.
Expansion Hold Ribs and split legs help lock the anchor as the screw is tightened.
Versatile Base Materials Commonly used in drywall, masonry, and other solid or hollow substrates.
Clean Installation Simple drill-and-set process with standard bits and screws.
Non-Conductive Suitable around electrical accessories where insulated hardware is preferred.
Size Range Choose anchor and matching screw sizes to meet your load and fixture thickness.

How to Select Nylon Anchors

Match the anchor style and size to your base material, fixture, and load.

Identify the base material (drywall, concrete, brick, block, plaster). Choose hollow-wall anchors for drywall and solid-base styles for masonry.
Pick the anchor diameter/length to suit the hole size and embedment you need, considering fixture thickness.
Select the screw size recommended for the anchor (e.g., #6–#12); use pan/oval/flat heads as required by the fixture.
Confirm drill size from the product spec and maintain proper edge distance and spacing.
Review allowable loads for your substrate; perform on-site tests when conditions vary.

Common Applications

Electrical boxes, clips, and conduit straps
Small shelves, hooks, and brackets
Signage, mirrors, and bath accessories
Cable management and light fixtures (as allowed by local code)

Installation & Safety

Drill to the specified diameter/depth; clear dust before setting the anchor.
Insert the anchor flush; drive the matching screw until snug—do not over-tighten.
Observe edge distance and spacing; avoid cracked or weak substrates.
Not intended for structural or overhead life-safety loads unless specifically rated.
