Buyer’s Guide

Are your items subject to California’s Prop 65?
Yes, some products contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and or birth defects or other reproductive harm. Please use caution when handling all products and purchases. If you have any questions, please contact Customer Service at 866-573-0445.
How do I know what items you have in stock?
We use a sophisticated inventory management system to keep our warehouse stocked with over 40 million fasteners. If you need to know that an item or quantity is in stock before ordering, please call 866-573-0445 to speak with a representative.
How do I obtain a C of C or MTR Certificate?
To obtain a Certificate of Compliance or MTR, please contact Customer Service prior to placing your order. The fee for Certificate of Compliance is $15 per item. The fee for MTR is $15 per item. Please contact customer service for more information.
Is there any minimum order requirement?
No, you can order as many or as few pieces or products as you need. You can order one fastener, or one million fasteners, we custom pick, count, and package every single order.

To find the product(s) you’re looking for, you may (1) use the navigation menu on the top left of our website, (2) type a keyword into the SEARCH box. If you have any trouble locating a product, feel free to contact customer service for assistance.
How do I navigate the site?
To navigate this website, simply click on a category you might be interested in. Categories are located in the navigation menu on the top left of our website, on the front page, and also on the Shop All Categories Page. Quick tip, place your mouse cursor over anything you think could be a clickable link. You’ll notice that anytime you scroll over something that is a link, your mouse cursor will become a hand, whereas scrolling over anything that is not a link will leave your mouse cursor as an arrow. How do I use a coupon?
After adding items to your cart, you can add a coupon or discount code in your mini shopping cart, in your shopping cart, or at checkout. Simply enter the discount code and hit the checkmark to add the discount to your cart.

Order Status and Shipping

Has my order shipped?
Click here to check your order’s status. You will also receive an email notification when your order is shipped with tracking data. Please check the email that you registered with (and your spam folder) for the shipment notification email. Most orders ship same day, if not same day, then within 24 to 48 hours.
How do I change quantities or edit my order?

How do I track my order?

My order never arrived.
Please click the “My Account” link at the top right hand side of our site to track your order status. If your order displays your package tracking numbers, please contact the carrier (USPS or FedEx) with your tracking number to confirm that your packages were delivered. If you are still having difficulty locating your package, please contact Customer Service for assistance.
An item is missing from my shipment.
Please check the packing slip included with your order which should indicate any backorder or item that may be drop shipped from another location or supplier. If you are unable to determine the status of the missing item, please contact Customer Service at 866-573-0445.

What happens if an item is “backordered”?
To our company, the word “Backorder” is inaccurate because this usually indicates a long term wait between 8 to 12 weeks. Most items that we backorder ship within 48 hours of the backorder being realized. There are cases when a backorder can ship in 24 hours or it may take up to seven days for the item to be restocked. We try to backorder as few orders as possible and any order over $50 will be partially shipped with any inventory we have in stock and completed with a second shipment. If there is ever a true backorder that will extend past a week or so, we will contact you directly to notify you of the delay, offer an alternative size that is in stock, offer a refund, and accommodate you in the most convenient way for your project.

How much is my shipping?
Shipping is automatically calculated prior to submitting your payment information. Simply add items to your cart and proceed to the Checkout page where you will be offered shipping method choices and their prices. Shipping fees are live rates calculated by the carriers and based on the product weight(s).
I forgot my password.
Click here, or click the “Sign In / My Account” link at the top right side of our site. Under the login box you’ll see a link that says “Forgot password?” Click the link to reset or recover your password.

If your country is not in the dropdown menu of available countries, unfortunately we cannot ship to your country at this time.

Pricing, Billing and Taxes

Do I have to pay sales tax?
Sales tax is based on the rules and regulations of the state in which you live. We currently collect sales tax in the following states, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Please note, if you have a tax exemption form, it must be provided before placing your order so that we are aware of your status and can update your website account accordingly. All forms must be current from your state’s Department of Revenue website and filled out completely. Please contact our office at 866-573-0445 or email support@albanycountyfasteners.com to submit your tax exemption form and EIN number before placing your order.

Sales tax cannot be refunded. We can only cancel an order to remedy sales tax charged.
