- Using a pre-drilled hole, they are installed with hand tools (typically a hammer)
- Drive the pin into the anchor body, expanding the anchor, to form a tight fit
- Zinc plated steel adds a layer of corrosion resistance
A zinc plated steel Hammer Drive Pin (or just drive pin) attaches fixtures to solid concrete or certain types of concrete blocks. They are also sometimes referred to as mushroom head anchors, nail in anchors, or drive nail anchors.
