Metric Nuts are similar to standard hex nuts, however they are about half as thick. This allows for installation in tighter spaces, as well as tighening the nuts against each other to create a locking mechanism, rather than tightening them against the installation surface. Metric Jam Nuts in this selection are made from CR+3 Case Hardened Zinc Plated Class 04 Steel and manufactured to DIN 439B / ISO 4035 size specifications.
