Dowel Screws are headless fasteners featuring double sided lag screw threads. Also known as wood screw studs, these fasteners are used primarily for wood to wood applications and are designed to be screwed into a pilot hole. The end of the lag thread is tapered and threaded to its tip. Dowel Screws are used for fastening two pieces of wood so as to keep them permanently in their proper relative position, usually set apart from each other.
