Meet The Owner…And Our Fastener Family
Robert Cominos, is the proud President and owner of Albany County Fasteners, a company he started over 10 years ago. Robert, also known as Bob, has worked in commercial and residential construction for many years, learning the skills of the trade while building skyscrapers, malls, hospitals, homes, and more. Through project planning, commercial building and hard work, he has come to know the industry inside and out. Once he retired from the construction business, he decided to put his knowledge of building materials to use. With the help of his wife, Anna, our Vice President, and their son Peter, the Purchasing Manager, Albany County Fasteners quickly increased their reputation and scaled the business. Years later, the entire family has joined the team, with Francesca, the Warehouse Fulfillment Manager, and Victoria the Brand, Marketing and HR manager. Our fastener family has grown to include over 20 employees, all working hard to fulfill Bob’s vision and deliver on our company promise to our loyal customers.
Although Bob owns the business and is considered the fastener expert, he is involved in every aspect of his business and can be found doing anything from filming YouTube videos on helpful tips and tricks he has picked up, to working in the warehouse checking customer orders for quality, shipping, and receiving inventory. Bob cares about every customer order, he knows how important it is to have the affordable, quality materials that you need to do a job delivered on time.
