This M8 x 1.25mm hex cap screw is manufactured from Class 8.8 steel with a zinc plated finish for reliable corrosion resistance in general-purpose applications. Class 8.8 is the most widely specified metric bolt grade, delivering approximately 800 MPa tensile strength for structural, mechanical, and equipment assembly across virtually every industry. The hexagonal head provides a positive drive surface for wrenches and sockets, allowing efficient installation and high clamping force.
