Ceramic Ferrules for Weld Studs
Ceramic Ferrules are designed for use with weld studs to help produce strong, consistent welds. During the welding process, the ferrule surrounds the weld area, containing the molten metal and shielding it from atmospheric contamination. This allows for proper weld formation while reducing weld spatter and helping to create a uniform fillet around the base of the stud.
Manufactured from heat-resistant ceramic material, ferrules are intended for single-use applications and are removed after the welding process is complete. Ferrules are available in sizes to match corresponding weld studs and should be selected based on the stud diameter and welding requirements.
