  • Install vertically into the bottom of wood structure
  • Used to hang threaded rod to support industrial equipment and other structural assemblies
  • Do not require pre-drilling before installation but may be required by joist or truss wood manufacturers
  • If pre-drilling is required pre-drill the hole 1/8" smaller than the root diameter of the fastener

A Vertical Sammy Rod Hanger for Wood is a self piercing screw for vertical threaded rod installations into the bottom of wood structures.
