#8-32 Stainless Steel Knurled Cup Point Socket Set Screws are screws without a head designed to be driven by a hex (Allen) wrench. Set screws have no head which makes them the ideal choice for moving parts. Sitting flush in the installation, set screws allow machinery to have very close moving parts without the head of the fastener being exposed and causing damage. The knurled point on these fasteners acts as a locking mechanism to help prevent accidental loosening of the set screw due to vibration.
- Knurled cup point to prevent accidental loosening due to vibration
- Driven by hex wrench
- Corrosion resistant in fresh water environments
*Note: Stainless steel has a high chance of galling (cold fusing) while being installed. To prevent this, we recommend using an MRO Anti-Seize Solution whenever installing stainless steel fasteners.
