1/4" Zinc Plated Sleeve Acorn Head Anchors are versatile expanding anchors designed for use in concrete, cement, block, thin wall/solid concrete, brick or stone. The special sleeve design allows them to be used in soft concrete. This occurs because the weight spreads out over a larger area. The anchors come pre-assembled with an acorn nut and washer for easy installation.
Zinc plating provides a protective layer of corrosion resistance to the carbon steel anchor. The acorn head style offers a decorative finished look. To install, simply drill the appropriately sized hole, insert the anchor through the fixture and into the base material, then tighten the nut to expand the sleeve for a secure hold.
