External Tooth Lock Washers, also known as Star Lock Washers, are serrated washers that create tension between the washer's teeth and the installation surface. This tension makes the fastener assembly resistant to rotation. External Tooth Lock Washers are used to lock assemblies underneath the head of the fastener or a nut.
