Shop Our Entire Selection Of Stainless Steel Rivets
Stainless steel rivets are used to connect two pieces of material in a quick efficient manner with a hand riveter or pneumatic rivet gun. They are tubular and comprised of a hat and mandrel; the length of the mandrel is snapped off when installed. All stainless steel pop rivets feature both a stainless steel hat and a stainless steel mandrel.
Also known as Blind Rivets, Pop Rivets are measured by rivet diameter and installed grip range. Because of this, rivets have actual measurement sizes, as well as nominal sizes made up of two numbers. For example, a 1/8 inch diameter rivet is commonly called a 4 for the first number. A rivet with a 1/8” grip range is assigned a 2 as the second number. This means that a 1/8 inch diameter rivet with a 1/8 inch grip range is referred to as a “4-2” or “42”.
Trade Names: Blind, Domed Open End, Closed End, Countersunk, Large Flange Open End, Multi Grip and Structural Rivets
