Cordless rivet guns are a growing trend due to their portability and ease of use. Cordless Riveters are ideal for applications that require more than a hand riveter, but where portability or space for an air compressor (for a pneumatic tool) are a concern. Cordless Riveters are battery operated, and are designed to deliver professional level performance without the footprint of a pneumatic tool.
How does a Cordless Riveter Work?
Cordless Rivet Guns feature internal pulling mechanisms that grip the mandrel, and pull it back until the rivet pops and fastens the materials together. Certain models feature a mandrel collector which collects the mandrels after the rivet is popped, while others pull the mandrel down, and then spit it back out after installation.
When would you Use a Cordless Riveter?
Cordless Rivet Guns are ideal for applications that require more speed and power than a standard hand riveter, but portability and space are a concern. Battery powered riveters deliver similar performance standards to a pneumatic rivet gun, but do not require an air compressor or hoses.
