Tamper Proof Security Screws with a Pan Head and a Spanner Security (Snake Eye) Drive
Spanner pan headsheet metal screws are used for securing materials from being tampered with, such as gutters, license plates, grills in jails, schools, boats and cars. They are also used in food prep and processing areas. You will often see security screws used in bathroom stalls and other public locations. Sheet metal screws have sharp cutting threads that cut into softer materials. The shanks are threaded up to the head or to the undercut. Sheet metal screws make excellent fasteners for attaching metal hardware to wood because the fully threaded shank provides good retention in wood.
Sizes available include: #4, #6, #8, #10, #10 and #14 (1/4").
