Slotted Flat Head Wood Screws in Marine Grade Silicon Bronze
Silicon Bronze Wood Screws are designed to adjoin two pieces of wood tightly and efficiently. Wood Screws are partially threaded with a shoulder below the screw's head designed to slide through the top pieces of wood so that it can pull both boards together tightly. Slotted Flat Head Wood Screws feature a countersunk and undercut head to run flush with the installation surface. Silicon Bronze Wood Screws are highly corrosion resistant and often used in salt water applications including on boats, docks and in marinas.
Silicon bronze fasteners are made of copper, silicon, and various other alloys such as zinc, tin, iron and manganese. Often used in plumbing and electrical applications, silicon bronze fasteners are also found on tattoo machines and in power plants. Silicon bronze is similar in color to copper and is sometimes used in finish applications for the color.
