Phillips Pan Head Machine Screws
316 Stainless Steel
Phillips Machine screws are ASME standards specific. 316 Stainless steel offers superior corrosion resistance to standard stainless steel (Grade 18-8/304) and is suitable for salt water, or other harsh environments.
These fasteners are often used with nuts as well as driven into tapped holes. In practice, they tend to be mostly available in smaller sizes and the smaller sizes are referred to as screws, or less ambiguously as machine screws. Some kinds of machine screws are also referred to as stove bolts, or "stovers".
