Phillips oval head self drilling screws are made of zinc plated steel and have a sheet metal thread with a self driller cutting (TEK) point to pierce through 20 to 14 gauge metals. The higher the TEK number the larger the drill point to pierce heavier gauge metals. The heads use a Phillips driver #1, #2 or #3 depending on the size of the screw.

Zinc Plated Steel Phillips Oval Head TEK Screws feature a raised decorative head, with a countersunk bottom and a round top. TEK screws have a self drilling point to aid in the installation of these screws into harder materials.
