Sleeve Anchors with a Flat Head & a Phillips / Slotted Combo Drive

Concrete Masonry Sleeve Anchors in Zinc Plated Steel are used to anchor and secure material and equipment to concrete masonry surfaces. Sleeve anchors are inserted into pre-drilled holes and then the head is turned which tightens the interior bolt and expands the outer sleeve for a secure fit, anchoring objects to the concrete, brick, or block. A Phillips Slotted Combo Sleeve Anchor can be tightened with a standard screwdriver or bit.

Sleeve anchors work on the true expansion principle: turning the head of the sleeve anchor pulls the working end of the anchor up through the sleeve, expanding the anchor and causing the anchor to secure itself into the masonry surface.

Masonry anchors are also known as masonry bolts, concrete anchors, concrete bolts and anchor bolts.

Zinc plated steel is very common in the fastener industry. Zinc adds a layer of corrosion resistance to plain alloy steel. Clear zinc has a light, shiny color and blue zinc has a bright blue hue. Zinc plated steel is not suitable for extreme environment use, as it is not as resistant to corrosion as hot dipped galvanized or stainless steel. Zinc Plater Concrete Anchors are most often used in interior applications such as warehouses, garages and workshops.
