Phillips Pan Head Sheet Metal Screws - Zinc
Zinc Plated Steel Sheet Metal Screws
Phillips Pan Head Sheet Metal Screws have sharp cutting threads that cut into sheet metal, plastic or wood. The shanks are threaded up to the undercut of the screw. Phillips Pan Head Sheet Metal Screws make excellent fasteners for attaching metal hardware to wood because the fully threaded shank provides good retention in wood. Phillips Pan Head Sheet Metal Screws have a rounded top with an undercut (flat bottom) head. The head of a Pan Head Screw protrudes above the surface being fastened.
Sheet Metal Screws in this selection have a Pan Head and a Phillips Drive. They are Zinc Plated Steel Fasteners, which adds a layer of corrosion resistance to the steel. Zinc can come in either a light shiny color or have a bright blue hue. Zinc plated steel is not suitable for extreme environment use, as it is not as resistant to corrosion as hot dipped galvanized.
