Dome Head Bolts in Zinc Plated Grade A Steel
A carriage bolt, also known as a coach bolt, has a domed or countersunk head. The shank is topped by a short square section under the head of the bolt. The square section grips into the part being fixed (typically wood), preventing the bolt from turning when the nut is tightened.
Carriage Bolts in this finish are Zinc Plated 307A Grade A Steel. Zinc plated Carriage Bolts are corrosion resistant, and hardened steel due to the fastener finishing process.
